As the apex body representing Rwanda's business community, PSF provides official recommendation letters and compliance endorsements to help members navigate statutory requirements, regulatory exemptions, and international mobility.
Key Recommendations Provided
- Quitus Fiscal Recommendation — With the authorization of the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA), PSF currently issues tax clearance recommendations (Quitus Fiscal) to registered members applying for compliance documents, public tenders, or specific import privileges.
- PET & Environmental Compliance (REMA/Packaging) — Support letters and approvals concerning environmental regulations, such as exemptions or project clearances for businesses dealing with alternative packaging, circular economy initiatives, or specific PET project compliances.
- Travel & Visa Support — Recommendation letters for business owners and corporate executives traveling abroad for international trade missions, expos, or market exploration.
- Specialized Cluster & BRC Endorsements — Targeted verification letters issued through the Business Recovery Centre (BRC) and specialized desks to validate business status, operational credentials, or project execution capacity.
Who is Eligible
These services are exclusively available to active PSF members (depending on tier levels such as Ordinary, Indashyikirwa, or Golden Circle) who meet the respective regulatory and tax compliance criteria.
How to Apply
Submit a formal request outlining the purpose of the letter alongside your business registration documents and proof of active membership through the PSF Secretariat or your respective cluster office.
