Grow With Us61d18hKigali, December 14, 2021 - At the Gikondo expo grounds, the 24th edition of the Rwanda International Trade Fair was officially opened by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Béata U. Habyarimana, with around 400 exhibitors expected to take part.
The Rwanda International Trade Fair is one of Rwanda’s biggest annual business events, organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM). It is widely known as a unique marketplace that helps participants promote their products and services, explore new markets, reach new customers, and grow their businesses through different platforms like B2B and B2C.
After officially opening and touring the trade fair, the Minister encouraged exhibitors to use the event not only to sell their products, but also to network with other business players.
“This trade fair is expected to provide a unique opportunity that will help you to recover client trust through business meetings, interactions, buying products, exchanging business information, and exploring new market networks,” she said.
The Rwanda International Trade Fair is running from December 9th to 30th, 2021, under the theme: “Inclusive business recovery and growth through Trade Fair.” This year, Rwanda welcomed exhibitors from Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo for the very first time, and Minister Habyarimana visited their respective booths during the opening ceremony.
This event comes after a tough shock hit our business community and the wider economy during nearly two years of COVID-19 disruptions. The 2021 trade fair is expected to bring together over 400 different business operators and players from at least 20 countries for a period of three weeks.
