Faustin KARASIRA

About

Faustin Karasira is a seasoned, hands-on and results-oriented business and institutional leader with over two decades of experience in private sector development, business growth, investment promotion, tourism, sales and distribution, product development and planning, strategy and operations.

He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Private Sector Federation (PSF) of Rwanda, where he has contributed significantly to the Federation’s institutional transformation, revenue growth, business development and private sector advocacy. He has also championed the expansion of PSF’s presence through district offices and sector-based exhibitions and business platforms.

Mr. Karasira is an institution builder and the initiator and Chairman of the Imanzi Business Institute (IBI) and the initiator of the Business Research Center (BRC). Prior to PSF, he held senior leadership positions at the Rwanda Development Board, contributing to the development of Rwanda’s Tourism Master Plan, national tourism and conservation strategies, and diverse tourism products, while also playing a key role in establishing the Rwanda Convention Bureau and Tourism Chamber. He is a regular speaker and panelist at national, regional and international conferences and high-level business forums, sharing insights on private sector development, business growth, investment, tourism, entrepreneurship and institutional transformation.

Mr. Karasira holds an MBA in Strategic Management and is fluent in English, French, Swahili and Kinyarwanda.
