Amon MUGUME is a seasoned business development and product innovation professional with extensive experience in private sector development, business strategy, market research, product and service development, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

He currently serves as Regional Manager, Eastern Province at the PSF, Rwanda, where he provides strategic leadership in promoting private sector growth, competitiveness, innovation, and market expansion. He works closely with businesses, government institutions, development partners, and other stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities, address business challenges, and develop practical solutions that contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Throughout his professional career, Amon has demonstrated strong expertise in business development, product innovation, market intelligence, strategic planning, branding, partnership development, and project coordination. He has successfully organized major exhibitions and trade fairs, including a provincial exhibition that brought together more than 300 national and international exhibitors and contributed to an 80% increase in networking opportunities and sales volume. Before joining his current role, he served as District Manager at PSF, supporting SMEs and startups through business advisory services, market research, advocacy, product development, branding, and market expansion initiatives.

Amon also brings significant private-sector experience from Speranza Group Ltd, where he held progressive positions in commercial management, procurement, logistics, assets, and warehouse management. As Commercial Manager, he led product development and sales strategies that contributed to a 90% increase in sales and expanded the company’s market reach.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Kigali Independent University and has completed professional training in areas including private sector growth, green finance, packaging and branding, business management, anti-corruption compliance, and food safety. Amon is passionate about driving innovation, creating business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and translating strategic ideas into measurable results.
